Il prologo del film, ambientato nel 1860, si apre mostrando una coppia di lord inglesi con il loro figlio neonato che riescono a fuggire dalla loro nave incendiata e con una scialuppa approdano su una spiaggia nei pressi di una giungla dell'Africa. Successivamente trovano un albero molto grande, e lì costruiscono una casa dove vivere. Qualche tempo dopo però, un feroce leopardo, Sabor, attacca e uccide i genitori del bambino.
The movie is about the life of Tarzan. Tarzan was a small orphan who was raised by an ape named Kala since he was a child. He believed that this was his family, but on an expedition Jane Porter is rescued by Tarzan. He then finds out that he's human. Now Tarzan must make the decision as to which family he should belong to..
