Maud doesn\'t want to sell to Fred but feels she doesn\'t have much choice. Fiona tells her family about how she slept with Jim. They can\'t understand why she won\'t get back together with Alan if he\'s told her that she\'s forgiven. Alan collects his things from Fiona\'s flat, saying he\'ll never understand how she slept with a sad old drunk like Jim.
